It was seriously one of the bast of all time. Although the nerve gas was a little gross. And the eyes. But still, SO AWESOME!

Loved it. I think we need more of the other characters and less Sydney-angst.

This is true (about the other characters). It was so great for Marshall to finally get the credit he deserves. Also, it's more suspenseful and interesting because he's not as super-spy as she is. Since we know less about him, we know less about how he'll do. And he KICKED ASS!
Yes, that is exactly IT. There's more suspense. Also, he has more of an interesting family life thing going on, and we don't know as much about it or how it's doomed because everyone Sydney loves eventually dies or betrays her.
