A very large bowl

Mom just came back here to comfort me in my studying with the remains of a fruit salad. This, in itself, is not funny. The funny happens when I tell you that it's still in the big crystal bowl and I'm eating it with the GINORMOUS two-tined serving fork. It's like eating something Alice left.

Hee. :) I remember the end of senior year. It was ALL like something Alice left. Ru and I took a personal day to go hiking.

That sounds great. We all need a personal day here, but because of finals/AP's/copious college visiting, no one can really spare the day.

Where is everyone ending up? Your friends, I mean? Isn't it crazy once it's real?

A- Ian (hi, there, kiddo:-) ) is going to NYU, Kelsey is agonizing between UCLA and the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Brett is going to the U of A, ROsie is going to Sarah Lawrence but is taking a year off first, Charlie is taking a year off to build boats/do a NOLS thing and then applying again, Claire is going to Scripps, Justin to BYU, Josephine to Stanford, Doug to the U of A, and others to other assorted places. It is totally crazy. And somehow only psuedo real. They keep talking about the number of HOURS of high school left, and it is sooooo surreal.

Ian- Sure, you can. You don't have to go to class anymore. Some of us are nto so lucky. And we still have finals to go.
